2023 National Nutrition Month
Theme: Harvesting Health: Cultivating Wellness and Nourishment
This theme centres on the idea that achieving good health is an active, ongoing process, much like cultivating a garden. It emphasises nurturing various aspects of our lives to foster overall well-being and proper nourishment.
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel like health is something that just happens to us, or something we only pay attention to when a problem arises. What if we shifted our perspective? What if we saw our well-being not as a fixed state, but as a vibrant garden that we actively cultivate and tend to, day by day? Just like a skilled gardener understands that a thriving harvest doesn’t happen by chance, we too must commit to nurturing the various aspects of our lives. Our well-being isn’t just about what we eat or how often we exercise, though those are crucial “seeds.” It’s a holistic ecosystem encompassing every part of who we are.
