The Ghana Nutrition and Dietetics Association (GAND) is the country’s main nutrition and dietetics organization. Our members’ expertise covers a wide range of topics, including health, nutrition, and clinical practice. These evidence-based and referenced policy and position statements are available to policymakers, the public, the media, and GAND members in order to clearly communicate the GAND’s viewpoint on a variety of key subjects, as well as the reforms we feel are required.
Position statements express a point of view on a particular topic, whereas policy statements contain explicit calls to action for the Academy or others.
New statements are being developed, and all are being reviewed on a regular basis.
