GAND is the only body in Ghana representing the workforce of food and nutrition professionals, and it is open to all nutrition and dietetic professionals both based in Ghana and abroad. Members include registered dietitians, registered nutritionists, sports nutritionists, dietetic students, nutrition students, and all persons with an interest in food and nutrition.

Full Membership
Any individual who has pursued and successfully completed a programme of study in Nutrition and/or Dietetics at an accredited institution at the tertiary level with a minimum of a diploma and is registered with the Allied Health Professional Council

Associate Membership
Any individual and / or health professional who has pursued and successfully completed a nutrition and /or dietetic programme of study in an accredited institution at tertiary level and who is committed to nutrition research, practice and whose normal work has a direct bearing on nutrition and/ or dietetics.
Being a member of GAND affords nutrition and dietetic professionals with a wide range of benefits and services to support their practice at as well as at certain stages of their education and/or careers. GAND members can access their benefits, resources and services in their My GAND section.
